Elliott Hewitt and Enzio Boldewijn surprised two Young Pies members on Halloween by trick or treating at their doors.
The two Notts players swapped the black and white stripes for costumes – transforming into spooky surgeons ‘Helliott Hewitt’ and ‘Enzio Ghouldewijn’ before surprising the youngsters in West Bridgford.
With plenty of sweets and ‘silly string’ in hand, they knocked on Lydia Patrick’s door and joined in the fun at her Halloween party – much to the delight of everyone there.
Wendy, Lydia’s grandmother, said: “All the youngsters were delighted to be in the presence of actual footballers and I think we have converted some of them to Notts fans!
“This is one of the reasons we support the club – they do a lot of work in the community and have the personal touch.”
Then the players paid a visit to Brody Deakin, making another young fan’s day.
His dad, Trevor, said: “He had a great time and loved covering Elliott with silly string!
“As a fan of 50 years I got as much out of the visit as Brody did!”
