Noor Husin made his first appearance for Afghanistan today as his home country were beaten 1-0 away to Turkish side Antalyaspor.
The midfielder was due to make his international bow against Tajikistan but the match was postponed due to a managerial departure.
Husin played the full 90 minutes against the Turkish Super League side, twice coming close to marking his debut with a goal.
He flies back to the UK this week and will be in contention to feature away at Morecambe on Saturday.
