Notts County manager Kevin Nolan is happy to have been handed a ‘kinder’ fixture list this season.
The Magpies learned their 2018-19 schedule this morning and the boss is pleased with the cards Notts have been dealt.
“It’s been a bit kinder to us this year!” said Nolan. “We haven’t got too many five-hour Tuesday-night journeys and at Christmas we’ve got two nice home games, which is a lot better as we were all over the place last season.
“I’m delighted we’ve got a home game first. It’s going to be a tough one – I thought Colchester were one of the best sides to come here last year but we managed to get two good results against them.
“There are lots of exciting games here, there and everywhere. There are no complaints this season!”
