Alan reflects on busy week

31 August 2018

Notts County owner and chairman Alan Hardy has issued the following message to supporters following a busy day at Meadow Lane.

So, here ends one of the most challenging and stressful weeks of my career at Notts County.

Thankfully, it’s finished on a hugely positive note with an exciting new manager in place along with two strong additions to our first team.

In the coming days we expect to also announce the arrival of a technical director to complete the restructuring of our football department.

Our new personnel will help us recruit more professionally and efficiently across every level of the club, from first team right the way through our academy, and I’m very, very excited for what the future holds.

I am, however, aware there has been considerable change and upheaval this week.

What I ask is that you, our supporters, get right behind Mark Crossley, Jon Goodman and the team when we face Forest Green Rovers tomorrow.

Your backing has been truly magnificent from the first day I walked into the football club in January 2017. We cannot do this without you.

Together we will all continue to restore the fortunes of this great club.

Alan
