Notts County manager Kevin Nolan says his side 'played like men' at Exeter City tonight.
The Magpies beat the second-placed Grecians 3-0 at St James Park and Nolan was thrilled with his side's performance.
"Hats off to the lads - they were absolutely fantastic," he said. "I'm absolutely delighted for them - they got exactly what they deserved tonight.
"Making that number of changes, you do have a little bit of a worry. But I trust these lads massively and they keep repaying me.
"We played like men tonight. We came here and believed. This is a difficult place to come to and we've got three points and another clean sheet.
"I keep saying there's more to come and I think you've seen glimpses of that over the last couple of games. I'm sure we can still get better - it's about me keeping feet on the ground."
Nolan and his players must now turn their attentions to Saturday's local derby at the One Call Stadium.
"You won't see me celebrating too soon," said Nolan. What you'll see is us getting back to business tomorrow.
"The chairman's been absolutely fantastic in letting us stay over again tonight so the lads aren't getting home at 5am.
"They'll be in the gym tomorrow doing their cool down, making sure they're ready to go to Mansfield on Saturday and try to get another three points.
"If we can go there and get a result, everybody will be thinking 'what a week that is.'"
