Notts County forward Shola Ameobi has spoken to the Guardian about the importance of the players building 'something positive for the city' this season.
Ameobi, who has started each of Notts' five league games so far, told the newspaper: "It’s important we build something positive for the city. The players have to have respect for the club they’re playing for.
"That’s what I’m all about – making sure you’re wearing the shirt with pride and giving everything. We’ve been able to do that in the short space of time I’ve been here."
