Notts County have agreed a deal to re-sign midfielder Liam Noble.
The 26-year-old, who spent two seasons at Meadow Lane between 2014 and 2016, scoring 16 goals in 78 appearances before joining Forest Green Rovers, will sign an 18-month deal on 1 January.
As his contract with his former club was terminated outside the transfer window, Noble will not be able to sign for the Magpies until it reopens in the new year.
He will be eligible to play for Notts from the home fixture against Crawley Town on 6 January and, in the meantime, will train full-time with the club and feature in reserve matches.
