Notts County are holding their annual Lifeline day at this weekend's match against Newport County.

Lifeline, which offers supporters the opportunity to win exciting prizes while supporting their club, recently surpassed 2,000 members and helped fund the installation of a state-of-the-art indoor training surface in the Haydn Green Family Stand.

The players will wear special Lifeline warm-up t-shirts ahead of the match and the first 15 supporters to sign up to the membership on the day will win one signed by the first-team squad. In addition, everyone taking out a membership on Saturday can take home a copy of the hardback book Definitive Notts County Statistics as a free gift.

Chairman and owner Alan Hardy will conduct a draw for £2,500 at half-time, while two lucky members will win either Jon Stead or Matt Tootle's signed, match-worn shirts.

"We're all really excited about Lifeline day", said the chairman. "It's a very important scheme and I can't thank our members enough for their support.

"I'm delighted to say that our next Lifeline-funded project will go towards enhancing supporters' experience of purchasing tickets, which we recognise needs to improve.

"More details will be announced soon but, in the meantime, I encourage everyone to sign up and be part of this very worthwhile membership."
