Nolan disappointed not to kill the game

Boss reacts to Yeovil point

21 November 2017

Kevin Nolan was disappointed not to come away from Yeovil with all three points this evening.

His Notts County team took the lead in the first half at Huish Park through Jonathan Forte's low, 20-yard effort but an ex-Magpie came back to haunt them as Francois Zoko's penalty ensured the spoils were shared.

"I'm disappointed we didn't find the second goal to kill the game off because I thought we did enough to win it," said the manager.

"Losing Jon Stead early on was a big blow to us but Jonathan came on and did really well.

"We're on a great run and we have to keep going. We're getting closer to the 50-point target.

"The pressure is off us and we have to enjoy this and keep doing what we're doing.

"If we win on Saturday, we'll have had a seven-point week and be in a good place.

"We're disappointed not to get all three points tonight but we move on to Colchester now. I'm looking forward to it."
