Alan Hardy meets supporters

1 November 2017

Notts County chairman Alan Hardy held a meeting with supporter groups and conducted an open fans' forum at Meadow Lane last night.

Mr Hardy took questions from the club's Official Supporters' Association, Supporters' Club, Disabled Supporters' Association, Supporters' Trust and LGBT Pies prior to the forum, which was organised by the club's supporter liaison officers.

The chairman took the opportunity to canvas fans' opinions on whether they would approve of safe standing at Meadow Lane and whether they would prefer funds raised through Lifeline to go towards a new PA system or a scoreboard. The room was overwhelmingly in favour of the implementation of safe standing and the PA system was the much-preferred option.

Mr Hardy also spoke of a need for the various supporter groups to work together as the club looks to move forward as 'one unit', while he also expressed his keenness to build on the improvements made to fan relations through similar events in the future and the development of the club's supporter liaison (SLO) work.

All fans are encouraged to fill out this survey to help the SLO team plan future forums.

Supporters can read a detailed review of the fans' forum here.
