Steve Cherry the special guest as Notts host Rovers

1 November 2017

Hospitality details for Notts County's Emirates FA Cup first-round match against Bristol Rovers.

Supporters had until midday on Friday 3 November to book this package.

Notts are paying homage to Bonfire Night with bangers and mash on the menu.

Guests will have access to a private bar before taking their matchday programme and teamsheet up to their padded seat* in the Derek Pavis Stand.

Steve Cherry, who became a goalkeeping legend to Notts fans after playing the game of his life to keep a clean sheet as Manchester City’s stars were beaten in the fifth round of the FA Cup in 1990-91, is the special guest in hospitality.

He will be asked by Colin Slater about his own memories of that great win, as well as his own stunning performance in denying City’s big guns, Clive Allen and Niall Quinn, when on more than one occasion they seemed certain to score.

Phil Turner and Kevin Bartlett had chances to win it for Notts before Gary Lund did so in the closing moments when a careless clearance fell to him 10 yards from goal and he drove the ball inside goalkeeper Tony Coton’s right hand-post to the delight of the Notts fans in a crowd of 19,000.

For more information or to book this package (£35), please email kirsty.edwards@nottscountyfc.co.uk or call 0115 955 7222.
