Notts County's 2016-17 Player of the Season Rob Milsom has signed a new contract with the club.
The midfielder joined Notts from Rotherham United in the summer of 2015 and, after a frustrating first campaign at Meadow Lane, went on to become one of the first names on the teamsheet in 2016-17, making 45 appearances in all competitions.
His consistent performances led to the all-action 30-year-old scooping both the Fans' Player of the Season and Players' Player of the Season awards.
And the former Fulham trainee was delighted to agree fresh terms with the Magpies.
He said: "The way the second half of the season went with the new chairman and manager was really good. It's exciting times.
"My aim at the start of last season was to stay fit and play as many games as possible. My performances improved throughout the campaign so I want to carry that form into next year.
"Goalscoring is something I want to work on. Thommo [Richard Thomas, assistant manager] had been working with me on it before the end of the season and we will carry that on in pre-season.
"I like to get up and down the pitch so if I can add goals to my game it will only help the team."
Notts chairman Alan Hardy added: "It goes without saying that we want to keep our best players here at Meadow Lane – and Rob is certainly one of those.
“It’s brilliant to see he has bought into what we’re trying to build here and we’re absolutely delighted to have him on board for the new season.”
Supporters have until 7pm today (31 May) to secure their season ticket at the early bird price. Click here for more details.
