Matchday ticketing

11 February 2017

Notts County are modernising their matchday ticketing operation by removing cash turnstiles from Meadow Lane with immediate effect.

Supporters will still be able to pay cash on the day but will be required to purchase their tickets from the main ticket office on Meadow Lane or a new matchday ticket booth situated between the Kop and Jimmy Sirrel Stands before going to the turnstiles.

Card payments will still be accepted at the main ticket office only.

Chairman and owner Alan Hardy said: “Following discussions with the CEO and senior management, I believe it is right to implement these improvements at this time.

“The percentage of fans paying at the turnstiles has decreased on a game-by-game basis this season, with advance ticket sales proving more popular.

“The vast majority of professional clubs now run their matchday ticketing operation in this way, which ensures greater security, faster entry and an overall enhanced customer experience.

“I understand some of our supporters are used to paying at the turnstiles and should anyone require assistance on Saturday our stewarding team will be more than happy to help.”

The easiest way to buy tickets is by doing so in advance in person, by phone or online.

Supporters who purchase tickets in advance online can print at home or scan their barcode at the turnstile.
