Benjamin Raven has renewed his season ticket for Notts County's 2017-18 campaign.
The 17-year-old took advantage of the exclusive renewal discount, which expires on 30 April, to secure his seat at the back of the Kop.And the club invited Benjamin along to Meadow Lane to find out why he’s committed his support to the Magpies for another season.
Benjamin said: “Everyone is happy to be here and wanting to be here. We’re ending this season on a high and the only way is up.”
He cherishes many happy memories of sitting in the Kop but considers Neal Bishop’s goal against Manchester City his favourite.
“Sitting up here, the angle was perfect. It was just amazing," said Benjamin.
“I saw the ball coming across and, before I knew it, it had smacked off the back of Bishop’s head and it was in the back of the net!
“It was one of those moments – you couldn’t believe it went in. The fans went wild and the atmosphere was booming.
“It was a day I’ll never forget.”
