A positive frame of mind

16 September 2016

Notts County goalkeeper Adam Collin says the team are in positive mood ahead of this weekend's trip to Cheltenham Town.

The Magpies will be looking to make it three wins in as many away matches at the LCI Rail Stadium on Saturday and their keeper is in confident mood.

Collin said: "Our form on the road's been good this season and we're going down there in a positive frame of mind. We're looking forward to trying to put last weekend right.

"We want to be challenging at the top end of the league and it's still early doors. If we can put a consistent run of games together we'll soon be back up in the top 10.

"There's a long, long way to go until May - lots of points to play for. The league's going to take a few months to sort itself out."

Collin is enjoying his time at Meadow Lane following his summer arrival and is focussing his attention on keeping more clean sheets.

He said: "It's not just me - the back four and the rest of the team are all working hard to try and keep clean sheets, score first and put pressure on teams.

"We'll plug away and keep working."
