A nice assist

25 September 2016

Notts County forward Aaron Collins acknowledged the quality of Jordan Richards' assist for his goal against Leyton Orient.

Collins produced a superb individual effort in second-half injury time to make it 3-1, taking the pressure off the 10-man Magpies.

But the Wolves loanee was quick to thank Richards for the pass which led to his goal.

Collins said: "It started off with Jordan Richards - it was a great ball and I managed to get on the end of it, running from my own half.

"I used my pace, managed to get through, checked inside and slotted it home. It's up there with one of my best."

Since arriving at the club, Collins has also scored a dramatic equaliser against Grimsby Town.

It comes as no surprise, therefore, that he's loving life at the Lane so far.

He said: "I'm enjoying it - I've managed to get two goals in my four sub appearances and I just want to keep scoring to help the team."
