Notts County remember

27 October 2016

Notts County will remember fallen servicemen, women and former players at Saturday's match against Luton Town.

This year, Remembrance Sunday falls on 13 November and, with no other home match before that date, the club will pay their respects this weekend.

Army cadets and the Royal British Legion have been invited to the match, with a bucket collection taking place outside the ground and poppies available around the stadium.

Prior to kick-off, the referee will gather the players around the centre circle before being joined by wreath-carrier Josh Stokes, an RAF serviceman and Notts fan. The Last Post will be played and a minute's silence observed before the match, which will be played using a special-edition ball.
