Community Day v Crewe

14 October 2016

A vibrant atmosphere is guaranteed at Saturday's match against Crewe with FITC holding their annual Community Day.

More than 4,000 match tickets have been distributed by FITC, who have arranged for a wide range of activities between 1pm - 2.40pm:

The Fanzone

Situated between the Jimmy Sirrel and Family stands (enter via Meadow Lane), the Fanzone will include:

- Inflatable football fun
- Your favourite animated characters brought to life
- Selfie zone
- Face-painting
- Henna and glitter tattoos
- Fire engine, ambulance and police car for children to have a look inside

Please note - once you have entered the stadium you will be unable to visit the Fanzone, so please be sure to stop by beforehand.

Bring your kit!

FITC will be holding a sports kit amnesty, with supporters encouraged to deposit unwanted t-shirts and shorts (adult and children's sizes) in collection bins located outside the FITC office (near the club shop) from 1pm.

FITC will take the donations on their volunteer trip to Kenya's Nakuru region, where they are sure to be gratefully received by the locals. While there, FITC will use their skills to help improve the lives of local children through teaching, sports coaching and helping to rebuild a facility.

Notts winger Genaro Snijders is fully behind the amnesty, saying: "This is a great initiative that I'm sure will make a huge different to the lives of the local Kenyan adults and children.

"I would encourage all Notts County fans to bring down any old sportswear they no longer need so it can be used by others less fortunate.

"I will be bringing some of my old kit and asking my team-mates to support this too."

Around the ground

Tommy Farmyard Records will be providing local musicians to perform around the stadium on the day. Make sure you listen out for the fresh new talent.

The Mag has it all

Twelve pages of the matchday programme are dedicated to FITC, sharing stories about what they've been up to over the past year. Be sure to pick up a copy!

Pennies make pounds!

If you’re able to donate any loose change on the day, please find one of the FITC volunteers who will be walking around with collection buckets before the game.

Alternatively, you can donate by texting FITC16 plus the amount you’d like to donate to 70070.
