Tickets still available for Hall of Fame induction

1 November 2016

Tickets are still available for tonight's Hall of Fame induction at the Motorpoint Arena.

The event will see footballing heroes past and present join together as the world's oldest Football League club and the Forest European Cup-winning squads take their rightful place among football's elite.

Tickets are still available online and on the night. Click here for more information.

County legends Les Bradd and Tommy Johnson will share their favourite goals and moments from Nottingham’s rich footballing history, while iconic Forest figures John Robertson, Archie Gemmill, John McGovern, Trevor Francis and Garry Birtles will also be present.

The event will relive the greatest moments from Nottingham’s football history in the presence of past and current players plus the Clough, Taylor and Sirrel families.

There’ll be footy fitness with Britain’s Got Talent dancer Joseph Hall and music from Nottingham singer/songwriter Rob Green and the Nottinghamshire Police Pipe Band.

The evening will mark the culmination of the Nottingham City of Football project set up in September 2014 to help more Nottingham people find their football in new and interesting ways, celebrating its achievements while looking forward to what’s next for football in Nottingham.

In the run up to the event, Magpies duo Michael O’Connor and Rob Milsom took on Forest’s Jorge Grant and Ben Osborn at FIFA 17 at the National Videogame Arcade in Hockley. O’Connor and Milsom won 2-1 thanks to a brace from Jonathan Forte. Click here to watch the video.
