Notts County squad strengthened as strong and experienced defender Andrew Boyce signs on loan for the rest of the season.
Notts County are pleased to announce the signing of 26 year-old defender Andrew Boyce, on loan from Scunthorpe United until the end of the season.
Jamie Fullarton secured the signing of Boyce despite significant interest from other clubs, in a move that will bolster Notts County's defensive options.
Upon announcing the signing, the Manager said, "Boyce brings physicality and he has a hugely strong presence. He's a leader and I am happy he has chosen to sign for Notts County."
When asked about the amount of competition from other clubs to sign Boyce, he said, "There was definitely a lot of interest out there, locally and from further afield across the divisions. But I spoke to Andrew and he's decided he wanted to come here. He wants to play for this club, which is a huge factor when looking to bring players into the football club".
Boyce has gone straight into training with the First Team squad and will be available for selection on Saturday away at Yeovil.
