Former Premier League Champions Head to Meadow Lane
Notts County will come up against Championship opposition, in the form of Blackburn Rovers, for their final pre-season friendly this summer.
Rovers, who finished 15th in the Championship last season, will head to Meadow Lane on Sunday 31st July (3pm kick off), less than a week before the new season gets underway.
Blackburn will provide a strong challenge for John Sheridan’s Magpies, and he will be facing another new manager with Owen Coyle recently taking over duties at Ewood Park.
The match marks the end of a busy eight days of pre-season for County, who welcome both Nottingham Forest on Saturday 23rd July and Walsall on Tuesday 26th July to Meadow Lane.
Ticket prices will be announced by the club shortly and will be on sale later this week.
