FITC beer-tasting fundraiser announced following wine-tasting fundraiser success

10 June 2016

You spoke and we listened! Numerous Notts County fans feedback to FITC that they would have attended the wine-tasting event if beer was on offer.

We took that information and we’ve worked closely with Community Partner Castle Rock brewery to make this happen, now we need you to support the event by buying tickets!

Starting at 6pm and taking place on Wednesday 6th July, Castle Rock will be offering FITC supporters the chance to sample a range (minimum of 5 beers) of their locally brewed beers in the private function room upstairs. Castle Rock staff will give a brief talk about the carefully selected ales to give some background and information about each individual beer as well as being on hand to answer questions you may have.

FITC events’ organiser Neil Kelly said, “We hope to have further announcements regarding this event closer to the time which will enhance the evening, but we hope the opportunity to try a range of Castle Rock’s finest beers, the chance to enjoy the semi-final in the picturesque Embankment function room and raise money for FITC’s local community projects will encourage people to attend. We are keen to put on innovative and quirky fundraisers that people want to come to support and enjoy themselves at whilst supporting our charity work.”

At 8pm, a big screen will show the first EURO 2016 semi-final, which COULD feature England depending upon their progress in the competition, but if they win their group, this could be a real possibility. The Embankment have also kindly offered anyone who purchases a 2 for 1 offer on pizzas ordered during the event which is a fantastic saving. The evening will feature a raffle and hopefully one or two special guests as expert analysts, watch this space for more announcements!

Tickets are priced at just £10 (plus a £1 booking fee) and are available at email or call 07795 625562
