Richard Cokayne has taken the decision to leave his role as Head of Commercial and Events, and will leave Notts County on Friday 8 July 2016.
His announcement to depart, to spend more time with his young family and to pursue new opportunities, will come as a surprise to many as he has been a friendly and familiar face at Notts since joining from Stoke City four years ago.
Having originally started at Meadow Lane in 2012 as General Manager for Lindley Catering, Richard has led the Commercial Department at the Club since June 2015.
Richard has brought much experience, professionalism and energy to the off field team. He has worked tirelessly to develop the Notts County brand and, such has been his success, the Club has been awarded a number of industry accolades over recent years.
His abilities to manage and grow the Club’s commercial client base have proven to be excellent, and he has gone over and above when cultivating and developing client relationships.
Chief Executive, Jason Turner, would like to place on record his appreciation for Richard’s hard work and dedication during his time at Meadow Lane, and wish him and his family all the very best for the future.
