Notts County can confirm that the string of Final Third Development League fixtures to be played at Meadow Lane will be priced at £3 for adults, and £1 for concessions.
Richard Dryden’s reserve side will take up residency at Meadow Lane for the following three Tuesdays wih 2pm kick-offs against Doncaster Rovers (January 12th), Scunthorpe United (19th) and Hartlepool United (26th) looking to continue their unbeaten form this season.
Richard Dryden told the OS: “Getting to play some games at our own ground is something we’ve been pushing for since we started our season so I’m really grateful to the club’s directors for taking it all on board.
“We have a lot of players who I know supporters feel could be in the first team so this offers people a great chance to see what those players are all about.
“Plus on top of that we have the academy lads coming through and they’ve more than played their part for us this season. Speaking with first team players like Scott (Loach) he’s been impressed with the impact the younger lads have made so it’ll be great for the fans to see what they’re all about too.
“Our results so far this season speak for themselves really so I’m sure the fans will be looking to get to Meadow Lane to back the lads.”
Dryden’s team drew 2-2 at Chesterfield yesterday afternoon thanks to goals from Jimmy Spencer and Kyle De Silva. We’ll have extended highlights and post-match reaction exclusively on Magpie PlayerHD in the coming days.
In other reserve team news, the Final Third Development League Cup fixture initially due to be played on December 22nd, 2015 has found a new date. This game will now be played on Wednesday, February 3rd with a 2pm kick-off.
This means the Final Third Development League game against Scunthorpe United set for the day before will now be rescheduled, with a new date to follow shortly.
