Pathway Academy open day

13 December 2016

Notts County are inviting current year 11 students to attend an open evening for their successful Pathway Academy football and education programme.

The Pathway Academy's success is reflected in participation increasing by more than 235% in its first year of operation.

Working towards a Btec level 2 or 3 in Sports Excellence, successful applicants will combine top quality football coaching and high level matches with a first-class education and a coaching qualification.

As well as a potential pathway into professional football with Notts, the programme can also lead students not only on to university, but on to any of the following careers:

- Football scholarships abroad
- Physiotherapy
- Journalism
- Teaching
- Sports Coaching
- Personal training
- Fitness instructing
- Tutoring
- Strength and Conditioning
- Diet and Nutrition
- Football Coaching

The open day takes place on Thursday 15 December (5.30pm) at Rolls-Royce Leisure, Watnall road, Hucknall, NG15 6EP. The evening will last approximately one hour and, after a short presentation explaining the Pathway Academy, students and parents will have the opportunity to meet with tutors and coaches, who will be on hand to answer any questions.

Those wishing to participate in the programme will be invited to attend training days, as well as an opportunity to play at Meadow Lane as part of an open trial day.

To book your place on the open day, please email jamie.brough@nottscountyfc.co.uk or call 07912 862 597.
