Notts County and Rhys Sharpe have mutually agreed to terminate his contract.
Defender Sharpe, 21, signed a two-year contract at Meadow Lane last summer but has since found first-team opportunities limited.The club have therefore agreed to terminate his contract to allow him to pursue opportunities elsewhere.
Sharpe said: “Unfortunately things haven’t worked out for me here.
“I’m glad to have met some great people, a good group of lads, and I wish the squad all the best for the season.
“I also hope the fans get to see the successful season they want and deserve. Best wishes.”
Notts would like to wish Sharpe the very best of luck in his career.
