Notts sign York striker Oliver

2 August 2016

Notts County have completed the loan signing of York City forward Vadaine Oliver.

The 24-year-old has signed a deal which will initially keep him at the club until the trip to Morecambe on Saturday 7 January.

Oliver, a product of Sheffield Wednesday’s academy, scored 10 goals in 42 appearances for York last season despite their relegation from League Two.

Earlier in his career, Oliver had a successful spell with Lincoln City, scoring 13 goals before signing for Crewe in League One.

He spent time on loan at Field Mill during the 2014-15 season, scoring seven league goals in 30 appearances, and has now become John Sheridan’s latest new signing at Meadow Lane, taking the number-nine shirt.

Oliver's player sponsorship is now available to purchase. To enquire, call 0115 9557 241.
