Lifeline's annual draw took place during the half time interval at Saturday's Sky Bet League 2 victory against York City.Adrian Newton's number was drawn out by Daphne Mounteney with the Lifeline member from Lambley winning a brand new Suzuki Celerio.
Adrian, who missed the game to attend his daughter's graduation, only found out he had won the car when his brother rang him from the game.
"I was literally driving past, and my brother rang me to say I think you've won a car! Then a few other guys who were inside the ground rang me to tell me as well."
"I've been a member of Lifeline for 5 or 6 years, at least. It's definitely worth it, I just still can't believe it."
Lifeline do a big prize draw every season, with other top cash prizes to be won, including £10,000.
