Young duo Jordan Richards and Lartey Sarpong have joined National League North side Boston United on three-month loan deals.
Richards, who can play as a full-back or in midfield, graduated from the youth team in the summer and is following in the footsteps of his father, Notts legend Pedro Richards, who played for Boston in the 1986/87 season.
Attacking midfielder Sarpong impressed in pre-season, scoring against Arnold and Rolls Royce to put himself into first-team contention which culminated in him earning a place on the bench for the league game with Accrington Stanley last month.
Both players were involved in the reserve team's 2-0 win over Grimsby Town on Tuesday afternoon with Sarpong on the scoresheet.
Head of Recruitment Guy Branston said: "Boston's manager, Dennis Green, was impressed with both players after watching them play for our reserve team on Tuesday.
"This is a great opportunity for Jordan and Lartey to go and play some games at a good level of football, which will further their development.
"We will be keeping a close eye on their progress during their time at Boston."
