Nicky Wroe has joined National League side FC Halifax Town on loan.
The midfielder initially moves to The Shay for a month to try and help Darren Kelly's side climb out of the relegation zone. The Shaymen are currently second from bottom and five points adrift of safety.
Wroe, 30, joined Notts on a free transfer from Preston North End in June 2014 but has made just 17 appearances for the Magpies and none so far this season.
Head of Recruitment Guy Branston said: "Nicky has found first-team opportunities limited and it is best he finds first-team football elsewhere.
"Halifax are a good club at a good level of football and it is beneficial for Nicky to go out and get regular first-team football."
