Whilst August’s Goal Of The Month competition was a tightly contested affair, September’s was far from it.
Out of the six goals we put up for the award, there was only one goal in it from the moment we started taking votes through our inbox.
It was Liam Noble’s last-minute free-kick at home to Luton Town which took the top honours with more than half of the votes received. His unforgettable swing of a right foot to clinch an entertaining 3-2 victory at Meadow Lane will live long in the memory.
We’ve contacted the supporter who cast the winning vote today. They’ve won two match tickets to a game of their choice at Meadow Lane, and a signed matchday programme.
Stay tuned later this month for October’s Goal Of The Month competition.
