Academy Analyst Praises NCFCOSA

6 October 2015

The Notts County academy has this week passed on it’s thanks to the club’s Official Supporters Association for it’s most recent donation.

With the addition of another £765, the club’s academy staff have been able to bring in the equipment it needed most, which means youth team analyst Paul Murphy can record games from the club’s academy ranks.

Paul told the OS: “This new upgraded equipment has been vital in shaping our new academy performance analysis department by allowing us to look at the matches from a higher aerial view.

“This allows coaches to watch unit work and individual performances, as well as key match incidents, which is of importance to the learning and development of our future talent”.

The benefits of the donation can be seen by supporters also, with highlights from the under-18s games home and away available on Magpie PlayerHD each week.

Peter Jarvis, the club’s Youth Co-Ordinator was quick to praise the efforts of the Official Supporters Association: “We’ve said it plenty of times before, but anyone with even the loosest connection to our academy is aware of the OSA’s efforts in fundraising.

“The lengths they go to have been tremendous and we hope they’re aware of how much we appreciate what they do for us.”
