Wes Atkinson has today joined National League side Eastleigh FC on a short term loan.
The 20-year-old right-back came to Meadow Lane in the Summer from West Bromwich Albion but has found first team appearances limited thanks to Elliot Hewitt’s impressive form.
Guy Branston told the OS: “The reports Ricardo has given us about Wes have been great so we need him in good condition and with more game time under his belt in case we need to call upon him over the Christmas period.
We’ll obviously monitor his progress whilst he’s out on loan but Wes is very much in the first team squad’s plans going forward.”
