Halifax Town, who were formed seven years ago, have extended the 30 year old's loan stay until the 9th January.
The former Preston North End player joined the Shaymen last month, featuring in six games so far for Darren Kelly’s team as they aim to move off bottom spot in the Vanarama National League.
The West Yorkshire side have recorded two victories since Wroe joined, including progressing through to the First Round of the Emirates FA Cup, where they lost out to League 2 outfit Wycombe Wanderers at the weekend.
The Shaymen are currently six points from safety in the National League, sitting bottom of the table with ten points in their first 19 games.
