Notts County Manager Shaun Derry is expecting another tough test when his side play host to Rochdale in Sky Bet League 1 on Tuesday evening.
Having battled back to secure a point in the 1-1 draw at home to Bradford City at the weekend, Derry was asked if he thought it would be any easier going in search of all three points against Rochdale in midweek.
“We’d like three points, of course, but there’s no divine right to get three points just because they’re not as big a club as Bradford,” the Notts boss replied. “They’ve had a fantastic season themselves this year.
“So we know we’re going to be in for a tough night, but the one point that we got on Saturday really takes us into the game with a different sense of belief,” he added.
“We were delighted with the second half performance and if we can carry that into a full 90 minutes on Tuesday night then hopefully we can get our rewards.”
