Notts County’s commercial and events team had another successful awards night this week...
Notts County’s commercial and events team were awarded the bronze award for match day hospitality in the small stadium category (up to 750 hospitality seats) and were recognised with a shortlisted nomination for the directors choice award which is selected and judged by visiting directors based on club’s service and food quality.
Over 300 guests from football and rugby stadia across the country celebrated their ‘off the pitch’ successes at The Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards 2015 on Thursday night.
The awards were the 11th annual awards organised by Stadium Experience and aim to recognise the efforts and dedication shown by the catering, conference and events teams at every football and rugby stadium across the UK.
The prestigious event, organised by Stadium Experience, was held at the King Power Stadium, home of Leicester City Football Club.
The evening literally kick-started with live entertainment from the current freestyle football World-Champion, Andrew Henderson, followed by dinner, awards presentations and partying until 4am.
The Magpies Head of Commercial & Events Richard Cokayne told the Official Site: “In our first season as an in-house operation I am absolutely delighted that the events team were recognised for all the hard work that occurs off the pitch.
“To come up against some stiff competition including Championship and Premier League clubs it is a fantastic achievement by all involved.
“All elements of the club contribute to this great award, from receptionist Beverley Cooper on our meet and greet to the stewards on departure. An all round team effort.”
Everyone at Meadow Lane would like to congratulate the staff on their continued hardwork.
