Notts County have announced a home friendly against Scunthorpe United on Friday 31st July with a 7.45pm kick-off…
The game is set to be the club’s final friendly before the big kick-off at Stevenage on Saturday 8 August.
The fixture could mean a return to Meadow Lane to former Captain Neal Bishop who missed out on playing in Nottingham back in March, in the entertaining 2-2 draw.
The match saw United take an early lead thanks to debutant Theo Robinson, but Notts equalised minutes later from a wonder strike from Gary Jones.
Notts looked to have wrapped up the points with a Balint Bajner goal, before Niall Canavan scored late on to secure a point for the Irons.
It will be the team’s seventh pre-season fixture after matches at Arnold Town, Rolls Royce Leisure, Carlton Town, Alfreton Town, Port Vale and Grimsby Town all away.
