The Magpies have agreed terms with Dutch born Togolese footballer Mawouna Amevor, signing a two-year deal…
The giant centre back, who can also play at right-back is set to be a figure point in the Notts back line this season.
The club are delighted to secure such a young talent that will bring both pace and power to the defence and help the club move forward, as the Magpies seek to bounce back into League One at the first attempt.
The 6’3 defender learnt his trade for Holland Eredivisie side FC Dordrecht, before breaking into their first team in 2010.
He spent three seasons there scoring four times in 71 appearances.
His form prompted Dutch side Go Ahead Eagles to swoop for the 23-year-old and he arrived in 2013, playing 35 times, scoring twice.
He also made his international debut for Togo in 2014 and has since played two more times for his country.
