Valencic arrives from Italian side Monza and played six times last season, scoring once.
Previously he spent spells in his native league, spending four years at Olimpija, playing 88 times and scoring 13 times.
He started his career for Interblock, playing 31 times, scoring 17 goals.
The attacking midfielder will bring much needed goals and can play on either wing too.
The 23-year-old has an eye for goal, can go past people and also likes to cut inside from both the left and the right to assist.
He also has a fantastic pedigree having had experience in the Europa League for Olimpija in Slovenia.
And he has also played three times for his country for the Under 19s and also been selected in the Slovenia Under 21s squad in 2015.
