Jenner: Ricardo Is Developing A Team That Will Fight For Each Other

8 July 2015

New winger Julian Jenner has praised Manager Ricardo Moniz’s transfer business this summer…

The flying Dutchman signed a one-year deal on Tuesday and is exciting to link-up with Moniz after a spell together at Ferencvaros earlier in his career.

The 31-year-old also admitted he has settled into the English lifestyle thanks to his new team-mates.

He told Magpie Player: “The move was quite early. I know Ricardo well and follow him. We talked about Notts County and how it works and we talked about last season.

“Unfortunately they didn’t stay up, but he is very enthusiastic and I said I would come and help.

“Ricardo is a very passionate man, he’s 100% football. He tries to make players better and you get a bond with him and the players like him.

“He develops a team that’s willing to fight for each other. There is a good spirit here on the training pitch.

“We are one week down and the players are enjoying it so far, it feels very comfortable to be here.

“The players have made me feel very at home, looking at the stadium, I get a warm feeling.

“The contract is finally wrapped up and I can’t wait to get playing.”
