The Notts County FC Open Day on August 2nd has many attractions in store for Notts County fans, but one comes with a bit of a Hollywood twist that you can now experience for yourself in Nottingham and throughout England.
If you’ve ever watched the films Batman Begins, Taken and Jack Reacher and wondered how they manage to choreograph their impressive and adrenaline fuelled fight scenes, then make sure to visit the Wheelers Suite to see it first-hand.
Defence Lab will be providing demonstrations, taster sessions and information from 10am to 3pm for everyone who attends this year’s Open Day. Just make sure you swing by the Wheelers Suite on the day.
Defence Lab [DL], created by Hollywood Fight Consultant Andy Norman, is a global network of self-defence and fitness training facilities.
This unique mixed-martial arts combat system equips you with the tools to defend yourself effectively and from a wide range of attack scenarios.
The training programme is called “DNA Fight Science”, DNA standing for Defence in Action, and was developed after 20 years of training and studying several martial arts practices.

Becoming a student is easy and will help you improve your strength, fitness and confidence, as-well-as providing you with the skills to defend yourself. Defence Lab Nottingham provides classes for children and adults at Bramcote Hills Sports and Community College every Tuesday and Thursday evening. Classes are also available in Leicester, at Glenfield Primary School, every Tuesday and Wednesday night. There are more Labs based throughout England.
