Midfielder Stanley Aborah arrived on a two-year deal on Friday…
The 28-year-old has been on trial for the past few weeks and finally got a deal signed last week after impressing in the pre-season games.
The experience Belgian is no stranger to Manager Ricardo Moniz after their time in Hungary.
Aborah told Magpie Player: “I’m very happy to be here. I spoke to Ricardo after knowing him from Hungary and he can make me a better player and after meeting all the staff here I feel happy.
“It was an easy decision eventually and I hope to help Notts get back into League One and after that we shall see.
“I’ve been on trial and Ricardo knows me well, he just wanted to see me fit.
“Pre-season has been tough and the games have been nice.
“I’m pleased to be here in England, it’s where the football is.
“We’ve had a lot of new players, it’s different, 14 new players, we need adapt to each other and I’m confident we will do that.
“I’m confident that I can make the first 11 come August, but it’s not a certainty. It will be a fight, but I will be ready for it.”
