Throwback Thursday: Kasper's Penalty Save Against Crewe

15 January 2015

Each week the Media Team delve into the club's archives…

Joint Caretaker Manager's Michael Johnson and David Kevan earnt their first win after the sacking of Charlie McParland back in October 2009 with a 2-0 victory over Crewe Alexandra.

Notts moved up to fourth in League Two with the three points.

The Magpies had already hit the crossbar twice before Luke Rodgers, a former Crewe striker, slotted home.

Fellow forward Craig Westcarr wrapped up the win, before goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel's penalty save from Steven Schumacher.
