Liam Noble spoke to the media on Thursday as he prepares to make his return from suspension in the Sky Bet League 1 game at home to Crewe Alexandra.
The Notts County midfielder has been forced to sit out the club’s last five games following his sending off against Swindon Town, but is now looking forward to getting back into action as soon as possible.
He explained: “Yeah I’m ready to go, obviously it was a long time out and I just want to be back out there playing really and hopefully I’ll get the opportunity to play on Saturday.
“The lads have had a hard run of games and if you look at the teams we were playing, I’m sure those teams, Preston, Bradford, Bristol City will all be in the top five or six come the end of the season, so it’s been a tough run of games for the lads, but I’m sure we’ll bounce back on Saturday.”
With four new signings arriving in the past six days, Noble says that the new players have fitted straight in and are all looking forward to this weekend’s game at Meadow Lane.
“They’ve all settled in great,” he added. “Obviously we’ve got a great bunch of lads here and the lads that have come in are a good set of lads too, so I’m sure they’ll get on alright.
“I’ve only trained with them once myself this morning and it was buzzing around the place, so we’re just looking forward to Saturday.”
