Derry: It Will Be Another Difficult Night

10 February 2015

Notts County Manager Shaun Derry is hoping that his side can bounce back from a run of three straight defeats when they return to action away to Leyton Orient on Tuesday evening.

On the back of a 1-0 defeat at home to Chesterfield on Saturday, Derry knows that his side need to turn things around sooner rather than later and is hoping to see more of the positive elements that came out of that game at the weekend when he takes his side to Orient on Tuesday.

"It won’t be easy, obviously not, it will be a difficult night because whenever you play anybody in this league it’s gonna be a difficult opponent," the Notts boss explained in looking ahead to Tuesday night’s game.

"Where we are in this league at the minute, we’re having a bit of a tough time, but what we’ve got to do is find a way of winning football matches and let’s hope that starts tonight."

Looking at the dramatic difference between our opponents’ fortunes this season compared to last year, Derry added: "I think that just goes to show what this league in particular is all about. They’ve had a chaotic season with some strange decisions that have been made.

"Let’s hope that we can capitalise that, let’s hope that we can put them under pressure like we did on Saturday with the first half performance."
