Notts County's winner of Stand Up and Be Counted has been announced....
The Football League have rewarded Notts County fan Marco Tomasi with a trip to Meadow Lane after The Pies overseas supporters registered in their numbers to see Notts top the table of all 72 league clubs.
A huge 6,359 Notts County fans entered their details online, beating Leeds United who placed in second with 6,174 fans - almost 3,000 fans ahead of third placed Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Initially The Football League were to reward one fan from all 72 Football League Clubs with a trip to watch their team. However, following the overwhelming response from Notts fans, they offered the chance to send a Notts County fan along to Meadow Lane to watch The Pies. Brescia based Marco Tomasi was drawn at random by the Football League to come to a game at Meadow Lane.
Everyone at Notts County looks forward to welcoming Marco along to Meadow Lane and would like to thank every supporter who registered their support.
