The club can confirm that three Final Third Development League fixtures will be played at Meadow Lane in January.
Games against Doncaster Rovers, Scunthorpe United and Hartlepool United will all kick off at 2pm allowing supporters the chance to see the club's fringe and up and coming players.The games are as follows:
Tuesday, January 12th v Doncaster Rovers
Tuesday, January 19th v Scunthorpe United
Tuesday, January 26th v Hartlepool United
Richard Dryden told the OS: “This is something we’ve been pushing for since we started our season so I’m really grateful to the club’s directors for taking it all on board.
“We have a lot of players who I know supporters feel could be in the first team so this offers people a great chance to see what those players are all about.
“Plus on top of that we have the academy lads coming through and they’ve more than played their part for us this season. Speaking with first team players like Scott (Loach) he’s been impressed with the impact the younger lads have made so it’ll be great for the fans to see what they’re all about too.
“Our results so far this season speak for themselves really so I’m sure the fans will be looking to get to Meadow Lane to back the lads.”
Tickets for these games are available on the gate and will be priced at £3 for adults, and £1 for concessions.
