The club can this morning announce that Civard Sprockel has put pen to paper on a one year deal with Notts County.
The former-Vitesse Arnhem centre-back joins the club having impressed the club's recruitment panel last week in a behind-closed-doors friendly with Leeds, and Friday's game at Meadow Lane with Scunthorpe United.
Speaking with Magpie PlayerHD, Civard told us: "I've been happy with the trial. You want to play good and give a good impression but I'm supported by the players in everything. Because I know the players now I'm at home earlier and I'm happy to be here. I'm experienced, I try to play simple football, one two touches and as far as possible from the goal."
"I want to play as high as possible, like in the Premier League but this isn't an easy level and you need to be focused and fit."
Stay tuned to Magpie PlayerHD later this week as we catch up with Head Of Recruitment Guy Branston and the club's board as they talk us through the Summer ahead of Saturday's season opener at Stevenage.
