Notts County Chairman Ray Trew has this morning spoken with the OS to comment on recent transfer speculation...
"I can confirm recent talk on social media platforms that the club is interested in signing Izale McLeod and that we yesterday had a bid of £100,000 rejected by his parent club Crawley Town.We respect their stance but we feel the money on the table is a rather substantial fee for a Football League player and we hope they'll reconsider their stance on this matter."
30-year-old McLeod enjoyed a successful season last year scoring 19 league goals for the relegated Crawley Town.
