Ninje: It’s A Game We Are All Excited For

10 April 2015

The Youth Team finish their season at home to Mansfield Town on Saturday…

The match will give the players one last 90-minutes to impress ahead of discussions on contracts later this month.

Lead Development Coach Ammy Ninje is looking forward to the local derby and is confident the squad can earn a positive result after working hard on the training pitch this week.

He told the Official Site: “We want to make it right for the last game after the Grimsby game. It’s going to be all win, I’m that confident. We aren’t going to play for a draw, it’s going to be a win.

“We have worked really hard on the training pitch this week.

“We all want to finish as high as possible and we are all focussed on getting three points this Saturday.

“It’s a local derby, so I’m expecting a battle. It’s a good game and a game we are all looking forward to.

“The mood is the camp is okay, there is a bit of pressure there and a bit of apprehension with the contract discussions about to take place soon, but they must put that in the back of the mind when they step out on the pitch.

“It’s their last time to impress and who knows what the final 90-minutes of a season could bring.”
